the first thing you'll know when you get to know me is that i love coke (the drink, not the drug). it's not that i go around parading my love for the soda, but you'll know in the way i always order a coke zero at any restaurant i go to.
my family, secondary school classmates, my polytechnic classmates, my uni classmates, my colleagues at my first job, they all always tease me about how i order coke zero. if a coke zero is served at the table, everyone looks at me immediately.
in a way, it's love. to be loved is to be known, or so the quote goes.
which brings me to my next point, and it's that i'm a pretty sentimental person at my core.
i love to find the beauty in the littlest things, in the things that people don't notice. in a country that values speed and efficiency for the best outputs, i treasure living a slow life - to walk while everyone runs, because doing so means i'll get to see the flowers on my walk home on the overhead bridge when everyone's too busy rushing home.
if i had chosen to give into the rat race, i'm sure i wouldn't even bother making this website to begin with. i'd probably spend my free time figuring out how to monetise my hobbies as a way to strap in extra cash on top of my 9-to-5 job. thankfully, i am pretty whimsy if i say so myself, so no, i'm doing this purely out of love and joy (love that song btw).
when i find myself in a slump, there are a few things i turn to - my loved ones, of course, who i'm lucky to call my support system, a kpop group called zerobaseone, reading and writing.
